These Community Guidelines are part of the End User License Agreement and Terms of Service (the "Terms"). They explain how to keep Parachute, Tether, and Tandem safe, private, and supportive for everyone.

1. Peer support and information, not treatment

Parachute | Tether | Tandem is a peer-support, community, and information service. It is not a medical, clinical, behavioral-health, psychotherapy, or emergency service. Peers and AI features are not emergency responders. We do not continuously monitor messages, journals, support requests, AI chats, meetings, or self-assessments, and we do not guarantee a response.

Parachute | Tether | Tandem is not an emergency service.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. You can also call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline), or text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line). For treatment and support referrals, call the SAMHSA National Helpline at 1-800-662-HELP (4357) (TTY: 1-800-487-4889), use the SAMHSA treatment locator, or text your ZIP code to 435748 (HELP4U).

2. Self-assessment safety flag

If a self-assessment answer indicates possible risk, the Service displays crisis resources and asks you to act on them. It does not alert staff, your contacts, or any authority. If you need immediate help, call 911.

3. Reporting a concern

Use the in-app "Feedback" button to report a nonemergency concern about content or conduct. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, generally during business hours (U.S. Eastern Time) and prioritized by severity, without a guaranteed response time. Reports are not emergency messages. If information actually available to authorized staff indicates a serious and imminent threat to someone's life or safety, Nickelsense Inc. may disclose the minimum necessary information where the law permits or requires, under its internal safety protocol.

You can block another member in your settings, from your contacts list, or directly from the member's content or profile. To appeal a moderation decision, use the "Feedback" button or email appeals@nickelsense.com.

4. Respect anonymity and privacy

5. What is not allowed

6. Enforcement

We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts that break these Guidelines, as described in Sections 13 and 26 of the Terms. We act proportionately and give notice and an opportunity to appeal where reasonable and lawful.
